This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities that are prohibited when using the Ramba Voice services (the "Services"). It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed to protect our customers, their callers, and the Services.
1. No unlawful or harmful use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any law, regulation, or professional rule, including the unauthorized practice of law;
- record or transcribe communications without the consent required in the relevant jurisdiction;
- infringe the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others; or
- harass, defraud, deceive, or harm any person.
2. No abusive outreach
The Services may not be used to send unsolicited or unlawful communications, including calls or messages that violate telemarketing, anti-spam, or do-not-contact rules, or that breach attorney advertising and solicitation restrictions applicable to your firm.
3. No interference or misuse
- do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without authorization;
- do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or data;
- do not introduce malware or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
- do not reverse engineer the Services except to the extent permitted by law; and
- do not access the Services other than through interfaces we provide, including excessive automated requests.
4. No misrepresentation
You must not use the Services to impersonate a person or organization, or to misrepresent your affiliation. Where the Services interact with callers on your behalf, you are responsible for disclosures appropriate to your jurisdiction and profession.
5. Protecting sensitive data
You are responsible for configuring the Services so that they collect only the information appropriate to your intake process, and for handling privileged and sensitive information in accordance with your professional obligations.
6. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP and may suspend or terminate access to the Services for conduct that we reasonably believe violates this policy or creates risk or legal exposure for us, our customers, or others.
